Mezzanine installation for BodyTech Health Club

A Vanguard Leisure & hospitality/ Mezzanines case study

Established in 1998, Bodytech Health Clubs provide a friendly, non-intimidating environment in which to exercise and are without doubt Shropshire’s leading independent Health Club Group.

For their new Whitchurch Health Club, Vanguard Contracts were appointed by Bodytech to design and install a Mezzanine Floor with a Feature Ambulant Staircase together with the necessary One Hour Fire Protection.

The quality balustrade consisted of a stainless steel, tubular handrailing system with 10 mm clear toughened glass infill panels, which was installed to either side of the feature staircase as well as the open edge of the mezzanine.

The total works were completed on time and within budget to the complete satisfaction of Bodytech’s owner, Jeff Anderson. He added, “We have been so impressed by Vanguard’s personality and it appeared that nothing was too difficult for them. We were very, very pleased and consequently will be using Vanguard again on our next project. Ultimately their project management took the stress out of the whole fit out for us.”
