A Vanguard case study

Vanguard Contracts were successful in the tendering of this project which was to construct a new office / reception counter into an existing empty commercial unit and to install new palisade fencing and lighting externally to create a secure loading area.

The main existing ground floor warehouse required a newly formed office installed with an open plan sales area / recreation area and a manager’s office to provide a trade counter facility.

An existing window was removed and a new automatic entrance door was installed to create a new entrance into the reception area. New electrical and mechanical services were installed to provide heating / air conditioning and lighting to the newly built office.

The concrete floor was chased out so new services could be installed to provide electrical and data services to the new desk locations. The newly formed open plan office had new ceilings installed along with high performance LED lighting, a new fire alarm system with an updated intruder detection system.

New floor finishes were installed throughout using both carpet tile and vinyl flooring finishes.

In the warehouse new racking was installed by a direct contractor whilst Vanguard installed new LED lighting and fire detection systems.

Externally we installed new palisade fencing to form a new delivery yard along with block work alterations, car park white lining and new LED external lighting.
