A Vanguard Retail shopfitting case study

This project was to fit out a well-established rural post office located in the heart of Worcestershire.

A new extension was built onto the rear of the building re-using the existing brickwork taken from an old extension which housed the previous Post Office facility that was demolished to make room for the new extension onto the rear of the building.

Most of the existing wall finishes were stripped off and the areas re-plastered ready for decorations.

A new office was formed in the existing storeroom along with a new cold storage facility. New ceilings were installed throughout the new and existing areas along with new high performance LED lighting, a new fire alarm system along with an updated CCTV / intruder detection system.

A new AC system was installed to provide comfort heating and cooling to the shop floor area. New floor finishes were installed throughout using both carpet tiles and vinyl flooring finishes with extensive works required to prepare the existing substrate ready to take the new finishes.

The newly formed shop area was then re-fitted out with new shop fit sales equipment and new bespoke counter.

Integrated into our works was the installation of a complete new specification post office counter which was installed directly by the post office but under our management systems.
